The Opotiki district has beautiful uncrowded coastline and unique landscape.
Here are a few of the ways you can spend your time in this area.
Fruit Forest is an ideal location to base yourself, while you explore the area by cycle. We are situated 2kms from the Eastern end of the coastal entrance of the Motu Cycle Trail. Turn left at our gate and Omarumutu Road links you to the beginning of the Motu Inland Trail.
The cycleways are part of the National cycle way initiative.
There are three trails to choose from - check out the Motu Trails promotional clip on youtube.
